Danielle and Brian’s wedding was a special one. I’m not sure when I knew exactly that this was going to be a great wedding, but I do know it was early in my talks with them. After their final consultation with me, I remember them leaving and saying to myself; “Oh please, PLEASE hire me!“
This couple did not disappoint! They chose the BEAUTIFUL Majestic Valley Lodge for their wedding site. Oh my goodness, the views are incredible, the service amazing, and the lodge is the perfect mix of rustic and comfort. I would live in that lodge if they’d let me.
Danielle and Brian also hired one of my favorite DJ companies, M&M Productions, as well as the amazing Ken Peltier and band for the live entertainment.
The day provided us with amazing weather, and Brian and Danielle provided us with a LOT of love for each other, a fabulous group of friends and family, and an appreciation for all the beautiful things that went into making their day together so special.
Congratulations Brian and Danielle! And, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you both a whole lifetime of love, laughter and commitment to each other. You two are simply fabulous!

Marc!
Oh man, this guy is definitely one of my favorite seniors. That personality and amazing smile had me right from the get-go! We had a blast working together and definitely shared in a few laughs (something about his baseball shirt and my complete lack of education in sports, I can’t remember the details, but it was pretty funny!).
I also have to give credit to a guy who has some AWESOME taste in movies. I know it’s a great guy when I run into him at a Coen Brothers film. I mean, seriously, that rocks! (and yes Marc, I DID edit your blog entry to include that bit of info!)

Jessica is SO. CUTE.
I love everything about her. Her awesome hair. Her cute smile. Her GREEN eyes. Her fabulous grey coat (I totally want to steal it). And every single thing about the way she posed and connected with me during her senior session.

She’s getting so big! I love Avy’s personality and smiles.

I just adore this family. I’ve been photographing this couple for a good while now, and every time they visit the studio they brighten up my day. John and Kai first became clients of The Picture Lady when they got married, and now they bring their two adorable children in for family portraits and “kid” portraits.
I love it!
This first image was captured RIGHT before the leaves exploded in the golds we are seeing now. It’s too bad our Fall only lasts a few weeks!

We just finished Emmerson’s last The First Year session. She’s walking, climbing, and loving her big brother!
Happy birthday pretty girl!
