Alex came in for her senior session in the studio during the summer and then came back again in the winter for a session down in Girdwood.
We brought our house make-up artist, Heather, along for this Girdwood session and we all agreed it was a definite advantage having a make-up artist on set! Alex got so many great images and Heather was able to really bring out Alex’s natural beauty in the frigid cold (no chapped skin or lips!).
Everything worked together to make a set of images that are, quite simply, awesome!
I’m definitely going to be (strongly) recommending our in-house make-up option to all our seniors from here on out! (yes, even the guys!)

I was so excited to meet this little man! I had the privilege of shooting his proud parents’ wedding a couple years ago. When I got the call that they were expecting a new addition to their little family, I was prepped and ready to shoot!
Sawyer visited for his newborn portraits at just a few days old. He was a total trooper! Sawyer is also joining our The First Year program here in the studio. This means I get to see this little guy four more times over the first year of his life.
I can’t wait!

I’m so excited to finally be able to share Lucas & Alora’s engagement sessions!
This couple opted for two engagement sessions. We started in the fall with a gorgeous location session up in Hatcher Pass and shot the second session just recently here in the studio in March. I love it when couples opt for engagement sessions, and when we get to do TWO, it’s even more perfect!
I’m so excited for their wedding this June. They’re getting married in a unique location here in the Valley and I cannot wait to capture the day!
(stay tuned!)

I was recently honored to shoot some reunion images of a family I’ve know since I was about 12 years old.
This crew is near and dear to my heart, especially one daughter in particular, as we’ve shared MANY adventures together growing up Valley. It was so good to connect with Jenna again after so many years of settling for a long distance friendship.
Other major players in this crew include the dentist who introduced me to minty dental floss, two of my high school seniors from Way Back When, one family I’ve done family portraits with, a few senior hopefuls in a few years and maybe a wedding or two flung in there for good measure.
This is a good family unit right here. I’m so happy to know them all!

Clint and Gina are getting married in a couple of months ( in HAWAII) and I could not be more excited to shoot their wedding (in HAWAII).
They came in recently for some engagement images to use in their announcements for their upcoming wedding (in HAWAII). These two have such great personalities and work so well together! I’m glad we had some time to work together before the big day (in HAWAII) when we get to really knock it out of the park with their wedding images (in HAWAII).
Love these guys!!
And it’s no accident the background colors we used are their wedding colors (in HAWAII).
This first one is my fav

Little Spencer is on his second session in his The First Year program.
He was super excited to visit the studio for his session, as is evidenced by that winning smile and eyes that will melt you into a puddle of goo!
