Jamie’s senior pictures!

September 2nd, 2012

Jamie is a BLAST to hang out with AND to shoot. We headed to Talkeetna for her location session, along with her twin sister, Kristen, and enjoyed a day of sun and photography. The images turned out great!

Kristen’s senior pictures!

I love this family! I shot Kristen’s older sister a couple years ago, and when it was Kristen’s turn, she came with great exuberance and laughter. We headed to Talkeetna for a location session and lucked out with GORGEOUS weather!
Only because I know people will think I’m double posting I will mention that Kristen has a twin sister who will be posted next on the blog. She’s pretty awesome too. :)

Brooke’s senior pictures!

Brooke was just fantastic to work with, sweet and gentle through her entire session. I loved how easily she could go from smiles to serious… and that hair is just beautiful!

Brad’s senior pictures!

Brad was a blast to work with, start to finish. We went on location to a spot he loves to visit in the winter time. The hayflats look a lot different in the summer, and the views were outstanding!

Rebekah’s senior pictures!

August 23rd, 2012

This post is image intense. I will not apologize for this obvious bias, as this post is about my daughter.
Of course I’ve known I would be shooting Rebekah’s senior pictures. As the years ticked by, and this event got closer and closer to reality, I mused about what we’d do, the location(s) we’d visit, what she’d wear… all the things one thinks about when focusing on their own child’s senior pictures.
I’ve photographed Rebekah so many times through out her 17 years on this earth, shooting her senior pictures was really not much different than any other session I’ve done with her. Well, with the obvious exception of not needing to bribe Bek with treats if she’d just sit still for ONE. MORE. IMAGE. like I did when she was 18 months old.
It wasn’t until I started editing her images that the reality of her impending adulthood started to sink in to my brain. And my overwhelming feeling through out the entire process has been one of pride. I am just so proud of the person growing up before my eyes.
It was my pleasure to shoot this fantastic person.
It has been my honor to raise her.

Krista was a pure joy to work with during her studio session. She brought style, elegance and such a cute smile/laugh to her senior pictures. I love, love, LOVED shooting Krista!
