Ben & Mary came in recently for a family photo shoot with their two, ADORABLE, little boys.

I’ve been working with Ben & Mary since their oldest, Mr. A, was just a little baby. Now he has a little brother and it was time to update the family portrait collection in their home.

I love how Ben & Mary have a distinct vision of what they want in their family portraits. We go into the process with a complete idea in mind. When it’s time to look through the proof images and choose their favorites, this little family always knows exactly what they’re going for and how they will be decorating their walls.

It’s so awesome watching the general sense of the image(s) stay the same over the years, as the family grows and changes.

With the holidays fast approaching, we’re starting to see more families in the studio. I love this time of year, as it typically brings me babies and children I haven’t seen since last year (at this same time!). I love the catch-up time I have with the kids. It’s always so fun to spend some time with the parents too as we compare notes on what has been done for the upcoming holidays (usually not enough) and what still needs to be done (usually too much!).
Brett and Debbie came in just before the snow started to fly. I LOVE photographing their awesome little boy. He’s quite a ham! He was in especially high spirits this day and gave us so much to work with. He had all of us laughing right along with him, and our laughter just egged him on even more. So cute!
