Dan & Ashley had a beautiful winter wedding in Anchorage at O’Malley on the Green.
They grew up in Alaska, but now live in Washing DC. They planned their whole wedding long distance, and the whole day went off with out a hitch! The weather even cooperated with gorgeous fresh snow.
I was so happy to be a part of this day with this wonderful couple and their loving family and friends.
I connected with Matt & Kelsie pretty much immediately. We all have a love of the outdoors, dogs and FJ Cruisers. Really, what more could matter in life?
Their wedding was so sweet and I was so excited to be a part of the celebration. These two opted to get ready together (I love this! I find it so romantic) and held a small, intimate ceremony down in Girdwood at Virgin Creek Falls. This meant a bit of a hike to the falls, but that was okay because the adventure was part of the day. After the ceremony we headed to their home in Anchorage for a wonderful reception catered by my favorite catering company, Alaska Events & Catering.
Matt & Kelsie did things a bit differently than most of my other couples. While they opted for a full day’s worth of coverage, most of the time we spent together was traversing the woods of Girdwood and rest stops between Girdwood and Anchorage for pictures of just the two of them together. LOVED that! We had a blast together and the images, I think, really show how wonderful the day was for these two. 
I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for about a year. I first met Kara and Justin last summer when they booked me and we did a couple engagement sessions together (one in studio and one at Hatcher Pass). Their day arrived and, just as I expected, was filled with love, laughter (SO. MUCH. LAUGHTER.) and perfection from top to bottom.
I loved it!
Two days after Justin and Kara’s wedding, we headed out once more for a Day After Session in Anchorage and the Valley. A Day After session is a special session set aside just for the bride and groom after their wedding. We spend the day capturing images (and locations) there just isn’t time for on the actual wedding day. This gives us lots of extra time to play and really work that wedding dress to its full potential!

Azzy is another of of my “old” seniors from years back. She and Dru returned to me, this time as an engaged couple, preparing for their wedding day. I so enjoyed these two and their day could not have turned out to be more beautiful!

Adam & Stephanie were married at St. Elizabeth’s with a beautiful reception at O’Malley’s on the Green.
The laughter started early in the day and didn’t end, even as I was driving out of the parking lot (with a final look back at what the groomsmen were doing to Adam’s truck!). This couple got their marriage started right.
I’m glad I got to bare witness to such fabulousness.
Lincoln and Val had a beautiful wedding on a gorgeous, spring day in Alaska!
Their ceremony was at 1st Presbyterian Church with the fabulous reception at the Anchorage Marriott.
I enjoyed the whole day with these two and their most amazing friends and families. There was so much laughter and joy, I could shoot this wedding every day and never get bored.
