Jessica’s senior pictures!

October 17th, 2011

Jessica is the youngest of three siblings. I’ve been shooting senior pictures for her family for YEARS… dating all the back to my first storefront space. :)
Jessica opted for a Hatcher Pass senior session in the summer and then an in-studio session toward the fall time. She rocked both her sessions and her mom and I had a lot of fun traveling down memory lane.
Check out how great Jessica is in front of the camera!

  1. Aunt shari wrote “U r sooo photogenic! Wish i was that lucky. Beautiful pics. Let the countdown to graduation begin!”

Anna’s senior pictures!

October 1st, 2011

Anna did her opted to do her senior pictures in Hatcher Pass for her location session. We hit the mother load of awesome light, weather, and color on the day we shot.
Anna was an awesome trooper through her in-studio and Hatcher Pass session. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

Dustin’s senior pictures!

September 10th, 2011

I got to shoot Dustin’s sister’s senior session a few years back (say that sentence three times!). And now it was Dustin’s turn for his session. He was so easy to work with and great about giving me those real smiles I love to see on my senior guys. :)
Dustin made both his in-studio and his location session an absolute pleasure for me!

Katie’s senior pictures!

August 2nd, 2011

…or as we like to call her in the studio; Cutie Katie’s senior pictures. :)
Katie is just exactly as sweet and silly and CUTE as she looks in her images. I had so much fun with her during her in-studio session and Super Secret Location session on private property that has been in her family since before WWII. The location was so awesome, I even opted to bring Ben to the session, which normally I don’t do. But shooting in a gold mine and mill, well, that’s one of those locations I can’t ask my 11-year-old boy to miss. Katie and her dad were super sports and Ben is still talking about, as he likes to call Katie’s location session, “the best session you’ve EVER shot, Mom!“
Katie, you have impressed us all!

This image makes me think of what Katie would look like if she ever ends up in a creepy horror movie. :)

  1. Zena Chandler wrote “My son is 3 years old and when he saw these pictures of Katie he says"She's my girlfriend". Awesome Pictures Melissa - Katie you look Awesome. Great Job!”

Melanie’s senior pictures!

July 28th, 2011

Since my daughter is only one year behind this year’s batch of seniors, there are quite a few I’ve watched grow since middle school. Melanie is such a senior.
I’ve been so impressed by the kind of young adult Melanie has become (and continues to become…). She’s generous, sweet, easy to talk with, and possesses a wonderful confidence about herself I so enjoy observing.
When she came in for her senior pictures, I actually got a little emotional. Nothing too terribly embarrassing. Just enough of a choked up heart to remind me that I’ve watched this girl grow and change since she was 11 years old. And what a joy she’s been to watch!

  1. Gramma Sandy wrote “Oh Melle Belle, you are soooo beautiful. What great pic's . Which one are you using for your grad. pic's. They are just awesome. I love you, MUCHO, S.B.”
  2. Zena Chandler wrote “Your work is so Awesome Melissa, thank you for such and great job. Melanie is so beautiful in these pictures, I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!”

Collin’s senior pictures!

July 25th, 2011

Collin has been a regular visitor to the studio since he was about 10 years old. I told him during his senior session that I was going to pull out some of his old session images to put on the blog when I posted about his senior pictures.
Being the awesome sport that Collin is, he told me I could go for it!
But alas, I want to have the chance to shoot this guy’s wedding one day, embarrassing him on the internet may not be the best way to stay at the top of his photographer list. :)
At any rate, Collin is excellent. He’s excellent in front of the camera and he’s excellent as a person. He’s the kind of guy that will take life by the horns and make it do his will.
I had a blast, Collin, thanks for coming in!

*Collin– Bek says; “This is a picture of him trying not to laugh at the ridiculous way you wear your hat during photo shoots.“
I thought you’d appreciate that. :)

  1. Carol Imlach wrote “Awsome pictures Collin,”
  2. Melanie Schuerch wrote “Awesome pictures, Collin! We're so old..(;”
  3. Aunt Cheryl wrote “Great pics! You get better looking every time I see you ?!”
