Casey’s senior pictures!

February 27th, 2012

Yes! We are still shooting 2012 seniors!
Casey came in and had me smiling from ear to ear through her entire session. She has a great sense of self and was excited to show that off in her session.
It took us a while, but finally we figured out who Casey’s famous doppelganger is; Eva Mendes! (can you see it?)

Whitney’s senior pictures!

Aw Whitney. What can I say about this girl that won’t go on and on and on and on.…?
Whitney is one of my daugther’s close friends and I LOVE HER SO MUCH! She’s a talented actress and ukelele player, she’s a blast to talk to and she’s got a good head on her shoulders (I’m pretty sure that last thing is the least favorite thing a teenager can hear from their friend’s mom).
Whitney came in recently for her senior session and, of course, had a really cool session. I don’t think I’m being bias at all when I say that Whitney knocked this one out of the park. :)

Brice’s senior pictures!

When Brice and his mom came in for their consult I had some trouble focusing on the task at hand. It’s not that I don’t do senior consults on a very regular basis this time of year and know exactly what I’m supposed to say… I didn’t get stage fright, I didn’t forget my lines. When I looked at Brice I couldn’t help but realize; I was looking at my SON, six years in the future!
At first I just stared, and then I looked at Julie and with out so much as a breath from me she said; “Oh I know. I thought the same thing!“
Luckily my slight freak out moment didn’t scare Brice too badly. :) He still booked with me and we got some AWESOME shots that I am so excited to share.
And if you want to see how much Brice and Ben look alike, check out Ben’s 11-year-birthday post.
And feel free to freak out right along with me.

Chris’ senior pictures!

September 8th, 2011

I am SO glad Chris decided to get his senior pictures done (he wasn’t sure about the process, at first :) ). And I’m even MORE glad I got to be the one to make the images!
Chris was a blast to work with from start to finish. He had great clothes, awesome props (I won’t go on and on about how excited I was to see the weapons), and looks that just wouldn’t quit. When the camera was turned on him, he really shone. It was truly a fantastic experience.

Mary and her mom were so much fun to work with! The giggles started early in the session and continued right on through to the end of the session. I loved Mary’s style and the fact she was able to get comfortable with me almost immediately. That comfort level certainly made for some really great shots!

Megan’s senior pictures!

August 8th, 2011

Megan was a bit shy when she showed up for her first session with me. I could tell there was an awesome girl hiding behind her glasses, a bit unsure about how a “professional” session was supposed to work, but super excited just the same. It didn’t take long for Megan to come out of her shell and I was SO excited about the images we made during her time with me!
Megan has these beautiful eyes that, I don’t think, too many people get to see. But she was totally cool with mixing her session up and getting images with glasses as well as with out. I loved that we had different looks to work with and Megan rocked them all!
The great weather added to the perfection that was Megan’s session and I couldn’t have asked for a better day with a nicer gal!
