Jeremy & Kate flew in from New York to join friends and family (from EVERYWHERE) for their very Alaskan wedding.
The weather held off long enough for us to create some wonderful images surrounded by the natural beauty of the Alaskan terrain. I’ve said it 1,000 times, I’m sure… I absolutely LOVE living here!
The gorgeous day was only made more wonderful by the hospitality and generosity of Kate & Jeremy’s friends and family.
Alex and Shannon had a beautiful wedding up at Majestic Valley Lodge, just past the Matanuska glacier.
The weather was iffy in the beginning of the day, but true to Alaskan form, it held off most of the day. Alex, Shannon, all of their family and friends enjoyed an amazing wedding with beautiful views. A perfect way to begin a new life together.
When Sarah first met with me to inquire about hiring me for her wedding the conversation went something like this:
“So we’re getting married on a glacier.”
“please hire me.”
“And some of us will be wearing bunny boots.”
“PLEASE. HIRE. ME.”
“And we’ll be hiking 25 minutes to the ceremony, outside. rain or shine.”
“OMG. PLEASE. HIRE. ME.”
It’s true. I am not too proud to beg and I will shamelessly admit that I was beggin’ Sarah by the end of the consultation. Thank goodness she wasn’t turned off by my behavior and trusted I’d do a good job for her and Aaron’s wonderful day!
Aaron and Sarah were married on Matanuska Glacier. Complete with bunny boots, and a 25 minute hike. The reception followed at the gorgeous Majestic Valley Lodge in Sutton, Alaska.
I was on cloud nine all day. As were this beautiful couple, who truly had the wedding of their dreams. (and kind of mine too!)
Danielle and Brian’s wedding was a special one. I’m not sure when I knew exactly that this was going to be a great wedding, but I do know it was early in my talks with them. After their final consultation with me, I remember them leaving and saying to myself; “Oh please, PLEASE hire me!“
This couple did not disappoint! They chose the BEAUTIFUL Majestic Valley Lodge for their wedding site. Oh my goodness, the views are incredible, the service amazing, and the lodge is the perfect mix of rustic and comfort. I would live in that lodge if they’d let me. 
Danielle and Brian also hired one of my favorite DJ companies, M&M Productions, as well as the amazing Ken Peltier and band for the live entertainment.
The day provided us with amazing weather, and Brian and Danielle provided us with a LOT of love for each other, a fabulous group of friends and family, and an appreciation for all the beautiful things that went into making their day together so special.
Congratulations Brian and Danielle! And, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you both a whole lifetime of love, laughter and commitment to each other. You two are simply fabulous!
