Kathleen wanted to do a session just for herself. Something to mark her age, something to show her and her loved ones who she is… today.
And so that is exactly what we did.
Kathleen was quite nervous and hesitant for this shoot and I was very humbled and honored when she told me that she chose to work with me because of my studio’s professionalism and the local word about my studio is that; “you’re so fun and you make EVERYONE feel comfortable and great about themselves!“
We work long and hard here at The Picture Lady to be the best we can at everything we do. We try so hard precisely because we enjoy working with very special clients like Kathleen, who makes us smile every time we get to work with her!
You’re fun too, Kathleen!

Kim is a long time client of mine. I’ve been able to photograph all three of her kids’ senior pictures (each session being a total blast, that crew is so fun!) and, finally, we were able to make some time for a full on family session!
This is one good lookin’ group of people!

I’ve had the privilege of making images for both of Tomi Ann’s sons. Now I finally got the chance to shoot ALL her boys!
This family is totally cool.

Lexi came in for some birthday portraits to celebrate 14 years of magnificence on this earth.
I LOVE getting to shoot this early teen age. It’s an age of new beginnings and experiences, and it’s fun to get to see how much people change in the four short years from “barely a teen” to “legally an adult.” As a mom of my own 14-year-old daughter, I can’t recommend shooting this age enough!

Jennifer brought her three, ADORABLE baby girls in for a fun photo session.
These girls were packed with hilarity, personality, and compliments (“You’re so pretty ‘Picture Lady and you sure do a good job with those backdrops!”). I couldn’t get enough of these girls and I can’t wait until I get to see them again!

Oh my goodness. I can’t believe it. My daughter, my *baby* girl, turned 14 this last weekend.
FOR. REAL.
She’s a beauty. She’s confident. She’s strong. She’s smart (seriously, 4.0 average and cruising through her classes). She’s her own person. She’s loyal to her friends. She’s kind to those who may not always deserve it.
She’s kinda awesome.
14 years ago I was surprised with a baby girl. For most of my pregnancy I was expecting a baby boy! My daughter’s delivery was an interesting one, proving right from the start she was a fighter (we both were). I remember the first time I saw her, I thought; “my goodness, she looks more worn out than me!” And in that moment, we bonded. I was young and she was my first and only child. We had a lot to learn, but we were in it together. 14 years later. This is still the way we face the world. I could not be more proud of the young woman who stands before me each day.
I’m breaking Rebekah’s party pictures into two separate blog entries. This first one will detail the party itself. An awesome slumber party with some of her oldest and dearest friends. The best way to turn 14!
The next blog post will have images from the insanely fun and hilarious “Model Shoot.” These girls brought their A-game to that shoot. We had a blast the whole day!
Welcome to 14 Beaner, it’s a really fun age to be. Enjoy it!
Another awesome cake made by the amazing, Ardy Pozzi!
