A beautiful Christmas day

What a wonderful Christmas! After waking up (TOO) early this morning, I got to spend the day with my entire family. We enjoyed a full day of eating, opening special gifts, playing outside, sledding, snow machining, and watching Christmas movies. I also got the chance to get some knitting done and even snuck in a 15 minute nap on my parents’ couch (I could’ve napped a bit longer, but the crew would have none of that!).
My very precious niece especially enjoyed the corn on the cob.

Here my gorgeous daughter takes a breather between the huge breakfast goodies that morning and the huge lunch that was about to be served!

Where else would you find an 8-year-old boy than near a pile of gifts? If my son was not outside driving a sled (snow machine for the uninitiated) , then he was inside, right next to a pile of presents!

All bundled up and ready to play!

Thank you to ALL my amazing clients. You guys made 2008 another really great year for The Picture Lady, filled with memories and love. I appreciate you all, more than you can know.
This blog will continue to be a bit light on the content through the next week. I’m taking a little bit of time for myself as I prepare for a most excellent 2009 in the studio. Between now and January 2nd though, you shall find me in front of my fireplace, dressed in my pj pants, with some knitting needles and a great ball of yarn near me. Maybe even a dt. Dr. Pepper to even things out.
So between now and the new year… enjoy your time with family and dear friends. And please remember to take a moment to yourself, and BREATH deeply the goodness that is Life.
