Meet young Cooper! He decided to arrive a few weeks early and surprised everyone. But that’s okay, as it just meant more time for Mom and Dad to spend with their perfect little bundle.

Dan and Stephanie are getting married this summer and opted to have their engagement session done during the (FREEZING COLD) winter.
Make sense to me!
We headed out of the studio to Matanuska River. This location really captures that Alaska look we all enjoy.

Zoe is six months old now and popped by for her second session in her The First Year program.
She’s all smiles and LOVIN’ being alive!

Little Payton’s family (this would include her Aunt, Uncle and cousin!) have been part of The Picture Lady family for many years.
I’ve had the honor of shooting Payton’s parents’ wedding (AND her Aunt and Uncle’s!) as well as her older brother and sister’s pictures. I even got the chance to photograph Payton while she was still in her Mama’s belly.
This little cutie visited for her first, official, professional portrait session at just a week old. And she made quite an excellent little model!

Carter and Andrea will be getting married this summer and I am very excited for their wedding!
I shot Andrea’s senior pictures years ago, just recently did a family session with her parents and brothers and sister… and to have her back at The Picture Lady with a wedding is so exciting!
These two are so funny and fun to hang with, I know their wedding is going to be positively excellent!

Barb and Paul brought their grown-up, twin daughters in recently for a fun shoot on Matanuska River.
We had so much snow to play, er, I mean SHOOT. And while we were starting the session, it began to snow even more! It was a chilly session, but this whole family are troopers (even the dogs!) and we enjoyed the afternoon and racing to finish up before we lost what little natural light we had that day.
May I just say it again? I love my Alaska families who brave the conditions to get such memorable images in our beautiful, Alaska scenery!
