Little Ms E is already on her THIRD round here at The Picture Lady. I know I say it all the time, but seriously, it amazes me how fast a year can go with these babies!

Oh my goodness! I had the most amazing wedding and I have been chomping at the bit to share it here on the blog!
Blake and Abigal are, in a word, wonderful! I loved every moment I’ve spent with these two, and having the chance to meet and hang with their family and friends on their wedding day was a dream!
These two made the most awesome decision to hire Karla DeLong to coordinate their wedding. I’ve worked with Karla quite a few times over the years, and every wedding I’ve ever seen her produce has been completely unique and stunning. This one, of course, was no different! The ceremony was held at the beautiful rose gardens off of 9th and the reception was in the Captain Cook Hotel.
Blake and Abigal told me that they were up for anything on their day. They allowed me complete creative control over their images. And I LOVED that! I took my job very seriously and hauled all of us to downtown Anchorage where we made a small trek on Kincaid trail to find some great shooting locations. Not one complaint from anyone!
It was awesome!
As my clients are WELL aware, a sight like this first image, when I walk into a job, warms my heart.

While I stayed home to edit images and work on studio sessions (I’m so dedicated!), the rest of the crew headed to the Arctic Thunder air show on Elmendorf AFB.
My daughter returned home with some pretty cool shots to share with me. She used my old Fuji S2 with a cheap (and old) zoom.
She’s only 13, and yes, she already rocks the camera.

Lauren got to shoot another amazing wedding for The Picture Lady!She got to photograph Jonathon and Kristin’s wedding at the Anchorage Baptist Temple with the reception at the Anchorage Marriott. This couple are adorable and completely perfect for each other! All day they both only had eyes for each other. And Jonathon could not stop smiling!
Both of their families were so fun for Lauren to work with, and so supportive of the new couple. Lauren mentioned (several times) how much laughter she heard all day long!
Congratulations Jonathon and Kristin. We wish you the VERY BEST on your new journey together!
