Alaska Dog Photographer; German Shorthaired Pointer puppy

I ran into Liz at our vet's office about three months back. I was there for a check-up for my Standard Poodle puppy, Pali, and Liz was there for a visit for her German Shorthaired Pointer, Reese. Liz looked a little shell shocked when I met up with her,"We're going to have puppies," she said to me, eyes wide with uncertainty and yet, excitement. Indeed, Reese and Ruger were going to GSP parents! Liz had just had an x-ray done, the vet counted TEN babies in Reese's belly! Fast forward several weeks later and, indeed, 10 happy and healthy GSP puppies were born to Reese. Liz was an excellent human mom to the litter. She spent extra time getting the puppies used to different sights, smells and sounds. She made sure they were well socialized as soon as it was safe for them to be around other humans and pets. She got all their vaccinations and vet visits out of the way and she carefully screened the new homes for each puppy. One puppy in particular never left Liz's home. And, lucky for me, sweet little Blaze came to visit me at just about 9 weeks old. Time was of the essence as I was just getting ready to leave for a month long trip and sweet Blaze needed to be photographed while she was still super small. We decided, what better way to ring in 2017 than to photograph little Blaze on New Year's day? And that is exactly what we did! I squealed, I squished, and I fell madly in love with this sweet girl. She has my heart, and she's not even 3 months old yet! But I know she's going to be something special :)
