The first time I saw Clarence the Standard Poodle puppy, was in a picture his human, Nikki, sent to me when she inquired about booking her puppy session.
I tried to play it cool and not immediately shout my excitement about the idea of photographing a silver Standard Poodle puppy. You see, we don't have a lot of silver Poodles here in Alaska. So when one inquires about a portrait session with me, well I do my very best to not scare that potential client away with my overzealous excitement of the idea of snuggling and loving a SILVER Standard Poodle.Clarence absolutely lived up to my expectations. His lovely face showed the clearing of his puppy hair color and the revealing of his silver color that would cover his whole body as he matures. This is one of the fun things about silvers in the Poodle breed, the true color takes about two to three years to fully clear. So, much like a box of chocolates, you never quite know what you're going to get!
